This Precious Moment

Buddha once said, “When you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky.”
I feel like I have been doing a lot of that lately. Looking up and laughing and smiling. Acknowledging that God really does have this whole “life thing” figured out. Not just for me, but for everyone. We just need to give Him the chance to show us and He will.
I think that most times, it is hard to see. We can’t comprehend how all of the puzzle pieces would possibly fit together. Instead, we worry and don’t trust Him. Now, I am not saying that we should just sit back and do nothing. You got to take action with your life and do the things you are supposed to do…meant to do. You also have to live each moment as it comes instead of barreling your way into the future with skepticism and unbelief. Those things cause worry and anxiety. Living in the future while not taking care of what is in front of you right now is a recipe for disaster.
You have to take action with faith. You have to know that, no matter what, things will work out just as they are supposed to when we LET IT…and the only way that anyone could possibly do that is to be present in their lives. Not past. Not future. Present. That is how God wants us to live. If we do that, He’s got the rest covered.
True happiness is not somewhere in the future. It is now. You only have this moment. Like the snowflake that melts on your tongue, each minute presents a choice that can be made and it is gone in an instant. Be present or not. Be happy or not. Enjoy now or not. You get the point. Don’t waste this precious, beautiful moment on things that are not of it.
