Compassion

Compassion is like a warm embrace during hard times. It provides understanding, comfort and safety when facing difficult moments, allowing us to take steps towards growth and healing. Just as an embrace gives us a sense of solace in trying circumstances, so too does compassion provide reassurance that we are not alone and help us to manage our emotions more positively in order to find solutions to the problems we face.

Compassion requires understanding the other person’s perspective and displaying sincerity in our words – it’s about selecting our response carefully with love rather than letting fear or anger take over. With compassion, relationships can be strengthened through mutual support which helps maintain balance amidst adversity. It provides understanding, comfort and safety when facing difficult moments, allowing us to take steps towards growth and healing.

Colossians 3:12-13 ESV
